If you cannot tell what inspired my design after one glance, I have failed as a designer. My work draws heavily from imagery you’re already familiar with. Most people don't have time to decipher what every piece of design means. "Now that you mention it, licorice really does look like a stack of lumber!" It’s within these similarities where I find common elements that will make you smirk, remember the brand, or both, hopefully without a second thought.
